our story

Samantha, 1988

nice to meet you

A lover of animals (especially goats) from the very beginning, Samantha enjoyed raising and showing various types of livestock during her childhood.

Not only was farming a hobby for her and her family growing up, but also a means of improving health and quality of life for her father with a terminal illness.  Switching to raw goat’s milk and a more natural diet were changes implemented to combat a grave cancer diagnosis.

To learn more about Sam’s childhood, you can purchase and download the ebook about his life titled “Where I Get my Strength.”

After falling in love and getting married in 2010, Sam and her husband, Kiel, established Wild Reid Ranch on the property she grew up on. They took on projects, made additions, and slowly the farm became their own.

A few years later they had a daughter, Natalie, and son, Timothy. Both children love animals and the outdoors. Natalie enjoys barrel racing her horse, Ranger, as well as learning, practicing, and teaching others anything about animals. She hopes to become a large animal vet one day. Tim likes rock hunting, taekwondo, and training animals. He is a great help with all of the building projects on the farm.
